ATI AIW type video cards are lower power and not noisy?

They make noise, too.

So using the VIVO of the MSI NX6600GT I could get captures as good as the PVR250?

I did try an ATI 9800 Pro and got the Happauge, so that solved my problems at the time. Trouble was, I never played games, so I ditched the 9800 Pro for a simple Geforce2 GTS. Now I find myself needing DVI output, and I figure I may aswell go for something useful, and the MSI NX6600 GT seems to be just that, especially with VIVO, that is, if it works good enough that I could displace the Happauge. I don't do a huge amount of video capture.

Actually, does anybody here have any experience with UNDER-clocking a 6600GT? I would like to keep the card underclocked when I am not utlizing its full power for 3D or HTPC duties. I think there was a program called cool bits or something. Has anybody had any luck under-clocking any version, perhaps the MSI or another 6600GT AGP card?
