I just got mail from Aerocase sales after asking about the Condor - they will be discontinuing the Condor product line this week.

I guess it's Thermalright HR-03 or nothing now, unless they introduce something else. Nothing on the site as of yet about this.

If they're seeing poor sales, it's probably because their front page is badly broken. There's no apparent way to get from there to here. I emailed them about it last week but they still haven't fixed it. Not being able to order a product will definitely put a damper on sales!

Anyway, the Accelero S1 and S2 should be good competitors for the HR-03, if they're ever released. I emailed Arctic Cooling a while back for an update on an expected release date, but didn't get any reply.

This may seem harsh, but IMO the success of some of these companies is seriously affected by their apparent inability to communicate effectively with their customers.

Maybe they're going out of business and that's why the front page doesn't lead anywhere?

That's certainly a plausible explanation as well. But then why is the banner a link in the first place?

The prices are a little too high. Forking out an extra 60$ too cool my video card passively.... hrm....

It's nice to see a company that cares by making a great product and wating to customize it to your needs... but I don't think theres a market for a 60$ VGA air cooler.

You can't really say that. The HR-03 is selling at a very close pricepoint but I'm still seeing strong sales for that fanless video card sink.

I was never really convinced by the Condor - too big, *much* too heavy, too expensive, too specialised.

Still, I hate seeing small enterprises in trouble (if that's indeed the case), particularly when all the feedback I've seen suggests their CS was/is excellent. Hopefully they're moving on to new and better things.

However, the HR-03 is probably selling more for people who won't use it fanless. I think it has higher performance with high airflow than the condor, or at least it's easier to mount a fan without DIY.
