WARNING: Samsung 2253 hums under low brightness settings.

Hi!
i've had experience with 9 of these, 1 at home, 8 at work.
When the brightness is set below around 87, the monitor hums, and it gets louder as you go lower.
Just a quick warning to SPCR addicts just in case u wanted to get this monitor and turn its brightness down.

And if you cant hear it, put your ear right against the rear.

There's actually another thread here where this has been mentioned. I think the 2232 is better in this regard, but some have said that there is some input lag during fast motion.

I bought the Dell SP2208WFP and love it. I have to turn off everything else in the room (including the PC) and put my ear to the back of the monitor to hear any of the buzzing.

It's a problem inherent to most inverters/transformers, and at the prices LCD are selling for today, it's unlikely we'll see it engineered out anytime soon.
