Hi!
i've had experience with 9 of these, 1 at home, 8 at work.
When the brightness is set below around 87, the monitor hums, and it gets louder as you go lower.
Just a quick warning to SPCR addicts just in case u wanted to get this monitor and turn its brightness down.
And if you cant hear it, put your ear right against the rear.
WARNING: Samsung 2253 hums under low brightness settings.

There's actually another thread here where this has been mentioned. I think the 2232 is better in this regard, but some have said that there is some input lag during fast motion.
I bought the Dell SP2208WFP and love it. I have to turn off everything else in the room (including the PC) and put my ear to the back of the monitor to hear any of the buzzing.
It's a problem inherent to most inverters/transformers, and at the prices LCD are selling for today, it's unlikely we'll see it engineered out anytime soon.
