Sapphire 3850 256mb is said to idle at about 15w and 3d-peaking at 65w.
Mine is downclocked and downvolted in 2d, and downvolted in 3d, this leads to 10w in idle and <50w for 3d peak.
A friend of mine could pass me a Sapphire mono-slot 4850 512mb and I was wondering if I could do some tricks using ati tray tools to lower power consumption like I do now, and which would be the REAL (mesaured by a real user with a possibly downvolted 4850) power draw increase passing from 3850 to 4850.
