Graphic card wattage

Post by hstink » Fri Jul 11, 2003 2:37 pm

The only other related topic I could find regarding the current draw of graphics cards was http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=4923 , but there was almost no information there.

I'm really interested in something like the Processor Electrical Specifications page but for GPUs instead of CPUs. Just google'ing for a while, I couldn't find *anything* listing the watts dissipated except that one Tom's Hardware statistic. Of course ATI and nVidia don't list this information on their web pages either.

- Since power consumption specifications are rarely stated by VGA card manufacturers, if ever, I was pleased to find the german site Tecchannel had done some extensive technical benchmarkings on video cards, among other stuff...

Smashing! Exactly what I was after! I'm surprised my search didn't turn that up.

I was going to ask if you could add it to the links section, but I see that it's just appeared :)

Just a note, the two links added to the front page section titled "This link" have a tailing space, and take you to a broken page. Remove the %20 from the end and they work fine.
