XFX HD-687A-ZDFC Actual Size

Hoping someone with this card can help me out. My mATX case only allows for a very limited GPU card length: 10.1 in. XFX states this card is 10.3 inches long, but I see other 6870 cards like the Diamond 6870 listing as 9.8 in. long.

Aren't both boards based on the same reference design? Shouldn't their length be the same?

If you have this card, could you measure it and report back if the manufacturer specs are accurate?

I've had that XFX 6870 card before. And it is 10.3 inches long, exactly....
