Monitor whine - a fix for some

Something quick and simple to try if your monitor is making a whining noise - adjust the power cord, wiggle it a bit and see if the noise cuts out. I have a couple of monitors, including 2 LA2405wg's that are silent at any brightness but on occasion have started whining. I finally traced the problem to the power cable not being perfectly seated. The monitors in question are regularly flipped from landscape to portrait and this seems to loosen the connection.
