I have a fairly old system in an Antec P180 case which until recently had a GeForce 7900GTX in it which sadly expired a couple of weeks ago. I replaced it with a Radion HD6670 http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-616.shtml
Now the cooler on the 7900 was very quiet and only ever made any perceivable noise if you played a game for a long time. The cooler on the 6670 is not as good, and certain speeds it makes a buzzing sound that is quite annoying and louder than anything else in the pc. This usually happens when the pc has just started up, after it has been running a while it quietens down a little bit .
I was wondering if the Zalman VNF would be up to the job of cooling this card ? Or are there any other good quiet coolers out there that expel the hot air out of the case ?
