As far as I can tell there are no Z68/Z77 motherboards which support dual-link dvi.
I looked at the datasheet and this appears to be a chipset limitation. To support dual-link dvi a motherboard manufacturer thus would need either sdvo->dual-link dvi or DP->dual-link dvi converter chips on the board and I guess noone does this.
(This is quite different to FM1 boards where indeed some support dual-link and others not, maybe they require external tmds chips anyway hence it might not be much effort to support dual-link instead of single-link - OTOH those boards more often than not don't come with DP which makes this the only option to get 2560x1600 resolution.)
However, if a board has DP it always supports 2560x1600, and if all you're using the 3d chip for is Aero then even a HD2000 is just adequate.
None of the boards support higher than 1920x1200 resolutions over HDMI, this is technically possible with hdmi 1.4 if your monitor would also support it, but pretty much everybody claims to support hdmi 1.4a while actually noone (monitors included) really supports the hdmi 1.4 stuff which matters (the higher signal frequencies), only some subfeatures. Well the HD7xxx discrete cards can do it but none of the igps (not sure about Trinity, though).
(Technically, it would also be possible to support 2560x1600 over single link DVI at 30Hz - all graphic chips should be able to do that, but drivers might not allow to generate such frequencies and monitors might not accept such signals unfortunately.)
