Database of Graphics Chips

Post by MikeC » Fri Aug 08, 2003 5:32 pm

Just a bit of a heads up for VGA cooling enthusiasts...

HadroLepton submitted a page that details data about all the VGA chips released since 1998. Seems pretty dang useful. Check in the Info Sites under Useful Web Links.

Took me a minute to find it on your link. The links page calls the article "Database of Graphics Chips"
Here's the direct link. But poking around in the Useful Web Links section is fun, too.

I can sympathize with you there HadroLepton,

When my article was published, (Rusty's Quiet In-Desk PC) one of the first things I did was email the link to my parents. Their repsonse? "What did you do that to your nice desk for?" Oh well.

You're lucky; your parents even have e-mail...
