Hello everyone!
1st post, but have been reading for at least 6 years.
When I was building my pc I've used only the stuff recommended here, and got a
noise-less PC.
However, I've recently changed some stuff and knew this would happen, but now I've got
a VTX 3D 4850 1gb gDDR5 graphics card that makes a lot of noise (the rest of my pc is
so quiet you can hardly notice it's running).
I haven't been reading reviews for the last 5 years (when Scythe was all the rage, I got
MUGEN on my CPU), and I've always had this fear that I'll buy a heatsink/fan that won't fit my card.
Can anyone help me out with my card?
Just a few pointers/extra questions.
Scythe Musashi isn't available locally, but Setsugen 2 is. Is that any good?
A bit cheaper is the passive Accelero S1+. Will that fit and be enough without a fan?
Extra fan is $10 - but I own a few Scythe fans (got a new slim 800rpm 12cm, that's
the lowest air flow model that they have I think) - can I fit that thing on or just buy
the original fan (1 or two?!).
The card is currently at 51-52°C @ IDLE (124F), and around 70°C @ LOAD (158F).
No o/c.
I could get away with 10% underclocking even.
Sorry for a huge post, but I need to get rid of this noise fast, and you're the only crow
around that understands what I'm going through.
Thanks and cheers from Croatia!
What will fit on my VTX 4850?

Re: What will fit on my VTX 4850?
found a review of the Setsugen 2 over at xbitlabs. Too bad they opted to cool a 250W TDP GPU rather than your 115W one. The original Setsugen was reviewed here with a 150W GPU. Compatibility list.

I've done some browsing around and the xbit review is the only negative review I could find (more or less).
It should be great on a 4850.
