This has been kicking around since Intel first announced Thunderbolt: Why not have an external graphics card for laptops? MSI showed a solution a year ago and it never came to light. Now Silverstone and Asus have teamed up.

And have you never taken a look at eGPU?
It's pretty sketchy and requires an exernal monitor I believe, another option is the viDock http://www.villageinstruments.com/tiki- ... age=ViDock
