Huge Alpha heatsinks on Ti4600?

They make noise, too.

Huge Alpha heatsinks on Ti4600?

Post by Viperoni » Thu Oct 30, 2003 5:59 pm

Think a fanless Alpha pfh6035 (an all aluminum pal6035) or an Alpha pep66 would cool a GF4 Ti4600?
It'd be Arctic Alumina epoxied onto the card.

I figure the pep66 would have a decent shot at it.

Should be no trouble. LeoV did it with an Alpha HS on a 4200 in his Ultimate Undervolt & Underclock Project.

Here is a guy that put a dynatron low profile copper heatsink on his 9700pro. He says that he upped the frequency from 275mhz to 410mhz. So Im wondering if someone did the same if they could put on a quieter fan and still get good results?
