It doesn't get too much smaller or low power than this:

looks like a pico-itx with a 2.5" drive.
While i havnt seen any retail cases for pico-itx, it wouldnt be hard to make one yourself.

External keyboard, yes. Monitor, haven't seen that yet. Anyway, Windows Mobile is a lot closer to Windows 3.1 than to XP (let alone Vista). You'd be happier with Linux.AZBrandon wrote:On the subject of "smallest pc" do any PDA's accept a connection to an external monitor and keyboard? They already have Windows on PDA's (sorta) so I would think that would be the absolute smallest Windows computer you could buy.

An optical drive/dock can be purchased for the OQO 02. The setup looks sexy as hell, but I'd never spend $1500+ on a PC.

I don't know about any other models, but my Dell Axim x51v can do VGA output with a special cable (available from Dell or aftermarket). I've never done it, but have read threads by users who have and it works fine. I don't think it can do a very high resolution (probably just 640x480 since that is what its own screen is), but several folks have used this capability to make a small car PC with a bigger screen than the Axim has natively.AZBrandon wrote:On the subject of "smallest pc" do any PDA's accept a connection to an external monitor and keyboard? It can also handle a mouse and keyboard by various means (either plug in the bottom or Bluetooth).
