Acer Aspire Revo noise and fan replacement?

Post by corolar » Sun Feb 21, 2010 11:04 am

Hello,

Do you happen to know what is the noise level of the Acer Aspire Revo at full load?

Also, can the fan be replaced or even made it fanless?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to SPCR!

The best suggestion I can think of to gauge the noise level, is to listen the recordings in the SPCR reviews of similar systems, and go from there. And more important that the number of decibels -- is whether or not it is quiet enough for you.

If Google is returning the right pictures for this system, I doubt that you can either replace the fan, and I doubt even more that you could go fanless.

Thanks for fast reply.

If the noise is similar to Asus EB1501, I think is acceptable.
Hopefully Acer Revo will also get reviewed by the spcr team.

Regards.
