project super mini itx

Post by mohibb » Wed Aug 17, 2011 4:47 am

hey guys

need some thoughts and help with this one.

motherboard : Asus m4a88t
processor : amd x4 Phenom 965 black
PS: ??
casing: ???
ram: xms 3 2x2 DDR 3
g card: has to be ati with a PCie 2.0 so I thinking maybe the high end 4000 or 5000 series

biggest problem is a casing with sufficient cooling ability and space.

the reason I wanto go for a mini itx board is because I want the system to be portable not a big block of lump. bt more like almost as big as say a fat book. anyone help me with the casing please?? power supply obviously will remain outside the casing.

thank you in advance

Hi, I don't think you will get enough cooling for this CPU in a small case.
And if the case was about as big as a "fat book", how would the external graphics card fit it?
Not sure what's your idea of a portable PC is, and why would the power supply need to be outside the case?

To give you any suggestion I just put up these two pictures for you.
See if thety might be any suitable ... ►
