Akasa Euler with 65W i5-4590S, possible?

Post by sandbo » Sat Jun 21, 2014 6:41 am

Hello,

I have been looking into getting a HTPC, but then it would be the best if I can get it with vPro such that I can manage it when I am away home (which I don't go back for a year usually),
would you think the Akasa Euler case can stand the heat from a 4590S?

I was trying to look for the cheapest i5 for the purpose, may I know if there would be a more suitable CPU?
Thank you.

If it outputs too many watts for that case you could always lower the maximum multiplier in the BIOS until you reach the maximum speed that the case comfortably supports; assuming the Motherboard has that option.
On top of that under-volt as well will give you more headroom.
