Externally mounting a standard radiator is probably easiest with Swiftech's Radbox. Fan choice isn't particularly different than for aircooling, so Nexus, Scythe, Yate Loon, etc. And, yes, a DC pump will power off with the system.

Glad to help.

Just to be clear, the Radbox mounts any "120mm" rad to almost any fan hole. It should work fine with a PA.

I suspect the PA120.2 will be a troublesome fit in a P180, but that's a WAG. Looks like you'd lose the upper 5-1/4" bay and that the motherboard would be partially buried behind the rad/fans. Check other sites (e.g. Hardforum, OCforum, xtremesystems) for WCed system photos.

There's just enough clearance above the motherboard's top edge (just slightly above where the top line of mounts in the case are) to fit a rad. You will most likely lose the top 5 1/4 bay if it's a 2x120mm rad. However, both fans and rad will not mount inside the case, only one or the other.
