LOL, no doubt some nutcase will spend a fortune on this RAM thats a whole 1% faster.

RAM doesnt get that hot unless its overclocked AND overvolted, the vast majority of DIMM's that come with heatspreaders are for show, this is for show as well, and the water only runs through the top of the ramsink, and not actually past the chips.

I expect that they have just overclocked the RAM, and the only way it will actually run at thos specs is if it has extra cooling, then again though I would like to see a test with and without the heatsink on. :) that could be fun.
