Going from Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Post by enb141 » Wed Apr 25, 2007 1:10 pm

Hi I'm new here and I would like to have a quieter system, my current rig is quiet enogh when not loaded but when loaded it goes loud so I would like to know if there's a way to get a quieter system using water cooling or do I'm stock with that noise at load

Specs
- P4 3.4 GHz (650) at 3.4Ghz non o/c
- Arctic Pro 7 CPU cooler 700 to 2500 RPM (at 2500 is too noisy for me 92mm fan)
- Intel D945GNTL motherboard
- eVGA 7900 GT CO (stock fan)
- Antec P180 case
- Two 120x120x25.4mm fans both runing at 900-1000 RPM (Antec TripleCool
- One 120x120x38 mm fan running at 1200 RPM (Antec).
- CPU FAN = Arctic 7 Pro Runing at (600 - 800 IDLE) and (2300 - 2500 Full Load) 95mm
- Antec Neo Power 480 W PSU

The kits I was looking are this ones:
- CoolIT Eliminator, Freezone
- Koolance Aquian ICM-510
- Coolermaster AQUAGATE Mini R120

If you know a better one please let me know.

I also want to upgrade my rig to a Core 2 Quad + 8800 GTS/GTX/Ultra in the future so taking this in count will also be a plus.

This is what I have:

now respecting the GPU when it is not loaded is fine but when I play a game it gets a loud and when the computer is turning on it really gets loud.

I think the best kit you can get is the swiftech. There are quieter pumps but once suspended they are quiet.
