critique my wc setup

Post by laguz1 » Mon Aug 27, 2007 7:04 pm

possible layout:

cpu block: d-tek fuzion (cooling e6420)
gpu block: swiftech mcw60 (cooling 7950gt)
radiator: thermochill pa120.2
pump: eheim 1048
reservoir: swiftech microres
tubing: tygon 7/16"
addictive: zerex

i'll be oc'ing the cpu to 3.2 ghz (400 fsb x 8 ) if i can, and the gpu core as well...

its a simple cpu-->gpu-->rad-->reservoir-->pump-->cpu loop

eheim fanboys and owners! will the 1048 work well in a cpu/gpu loop? or should i just go cpu loop...since i want a quiet, low wattage pump

i chose eheim since its AC powered, and i'd prefer it that way

thanks for any suggestions

I use a 1048 in a CPU/GPU loop and it's fine. You don't need a powerful pump really, performance only drops off significantly if you have really poor flow.
