new system with lime

Post by Puffi » Wed Mar 19, 2008 5:26 am

i set up a watercooling system about 2 weeks ago. i've been running only deionized water through it for now, as i was thinking i'd flush it soon anyway and put some new water in with some anti-algae.

anyhuu, it seems i have lime everywhere in the system. it's pretty strange to me as it's only been 2 weeks. my previous setup didn't build lime until much much later.

i only have copper blocks in the system, and the PA120.3. i thought with all copper blocks there wouldn't be any need for antifreeze or something similar..?

so how can i remove the lime WITHOUT disassembling the loop, and to prevent this from happening in the future? oh and i cant power up the pump without the PC powering up as well, if that makes any difference.
