Abit IP35 pro - NB cooling needed?

Post by tretre » Sun Jan 20, 2008 11:16 pm

I am considering buying an Abit IP35 Pro and using water on the cpu, and my only concern is whether the NB,PWMs will get enough cooling without an active fan nearby (as they are passively cooled).

Anyone with this combination care to give me some temps?

Since they're passive heatsinks, you'll need some airflow in order to cool them. Keep the rear fan on the back of the case, I believe the heatpipe transfers all the heat to the PWM sinks.
