9800GTX + 1GB watercooling? (GV-N98XPZL-1GH)

Hi,
I have just watercooled my CPU and the noisiest part of my rig is now my graphics card.
I been asking around a little bit and by the sounds of it, it is not a reference design =( but still not 100% on that.
Just wondering how you guys would go about solving my situation?
My idea so far is:
- Get a waterblock for the graphics chip (not sure what to look for, so will need help on that).
- The VGA Ram haven't got any sort of heatsinks on them currently so I was going to put some BGA ram sinks on them, that's gotta make it better surely.
And that's it. But obviously I would prefer to have the VGA Ram water cooled too.

That sounds like the only solution that will work in your situation. The GV-N98XPZL-1GH doesn't appear to have any Ram cooling, but it does receive airflow from the GPU fan. Adding the BGA Ramsinks you mentioned should compensate for the reduced airflow.

Awesome, as I thought. So the MCW60-R will work with my card?

It most likely will, but Swiftech seems to have inconsistent compatibility info. Their compatibility list shows it is designed for GF 8800s and lower, while the 'recommended accessories' lists a GF 9800 mosfet heatsink.
I think it is compatible with the factory card. If your's isn't, then you may find that nothing works.
I'll try to help with that. I have an MCW60-R, and it fits on the reference 9000 GTX.
Okay, now for the more difficult stuff. We have our four mounting holes:
0--0
|
0--0
Diagonally these are 75 mm apart center to center. That's about 1/64 of an inch under 3". Horizontally and vertically they are 53 mm center to center or 2 1/8".
If your holes match, then this block will work for you. When measuring, don't try to find the center of the screw/bolt/hole/whatever, measure from the side to the side of the bolt. Example: for the diagonal, measure from the top-left of the top-left bolt to the top left of the bottom right bolt.
