Something very interesting was done by linustechtips, a custom build with pure rads and a pump to cool a high end i9 18 core + GTX1080, no fans (except the PSU) but it works well, the massive rad area sustains this setup with in tolerance, very impressive.... now all we need is a silent pump.

Alphacool has better radiators for that purpose: Cape Cora HF.
It's modular, with each module providing sufficient cooling to have the water temp go up by one degree (above ambient) per watt of heat dumped off when more modules are mounted together in the usual fashion. I have a setup, not yet installed, with a dozen modules for my computer.

For Linus' computer I'd use 20+ modules or so, assuming a need to cool off 400W.
