CPU: Go with Intel if you only need integrated graphics. Go with Ryzen, due to lower wattage, if you plan to use a dedicated video card.
RAM: 8GB is still good today. DDR4 speeds, of course though.
SSD: Not much change except it's half in price.
Video Card: Much outdated. Go with GTX 1050, 1050 Ti or 1060 today. RX 550 is the most power efficient GPU right now.
Case: Look into the Metis Plus for the smallest form factor. Or Fractal Design's Nano Define.
Power Supply: The one in the article would probably be fine now.
