Question about P4 underclocking

Hi, I'm sorry this is a very newb question, but I have zero experience with P4, I have always used Athlons.

Anyway I was thinking of buying an Insight P4 Mini-ITX board http://www.insi.com.tw/mainboard.htm. It uses the VIA P4N266A northbridge and only supports 400MHz and 533MHz FSB speeds. What I would like to do is buy a P4 2.4C-800 and run it at 1.6-533 for lower power. After looking through the manual for this board, the BIOS does not seem to have controls for FSB settings.

So the question is: Will this automagically work? Or will it autosense an incompatible CPU and not boot at all? Any place on the web with good info about how the P4-bios-northbridge interaction works?

Thanks!
