Quiet Car for a PC case ?

Post by ehead » Fri Feb 25, 2005 11:01 am

Has anybody tried any of the spray on car products, like quiet car or cool lizard ? They say they can bring the db level down by 10-20 db's. It would be a cinch to spray the inside or your case with these products.

my friend was going to do it. I am hesitant because of the mess it could make. I want my computer to look clean.

I really wanna know if that stuff helps. I would assume it would.

after making this post, one thing occured to me ...
namely, i wonder if that stuff prevent proper heat radiation ?

i mean, your fans would still work, but i wonder how much heat radiation takes place through the case itself ? and i wonder if that stuff interferes with it ?
