I've posted recently about my planned quiet-PC build. However, I've read a couple of reviews of the PSU that I intend to use (a Nexus NX3500) that suggests that because it uses a under-mounted 120mm fan, then I can get away with no case fans.
I currently intend to back it up with a rear 120mm case fan.. but is it required?
I'm going to be running an AMD Athlon 64bit 3200+, a 300Gb Maxtor hard drive and 2 optical drives within an Alpine EZ-Cool case.

Which GPU? That's the main other heat producer besides the CPU.
fyi, I used to run a 2400+ (runs hotter than a amd64 3200+), two HDs, and a 9600Pro using only my 120mm Fortron PSU as exhaust, and it worked great. I recently upgraded to a 6600GT GPU, and have added an 80mm Nexus because of this upgrade.
