well, I'm in no way set on that case. If you read the whole thread you know I'm looking into getting an antec slk3000b and a seasonic PSU, just need to figure out how to get those psu's :)

Cristopher, you wouldn't have a source for one would you? You living in sweden and me in Norway...

A resonant side panel that's rmovable is a real easy mod. I'd probably get some Oak veneered plywood, about 1/4",cut to size for each side, frame with molding, stain + Polyurethane coat. Would be glued on with construction adhesive, the kind in a caulk-gun tube. You damp resonanse and add some mass-density-sound barrier, while having a nice look.

I'm not sure how a temp control fan undervolts. These Artic TC's min speed is 1000 rpm,so relocating the sensor will get them running closer to that. If the series wired setup works they could be at about 500 rpm each, min, with some ramp-up if the rig gets warm. I just wonder if different volts would change how sensors read.

Figure the Silentium is near the price of an ANTEC---but you get a FREE Seasonic, and that would get me thinking about a few tweaks to get the Silentium just right.

You should be able to get an ATI All-In-Wonder for the cost of the Vid card and seperate TV thing, maybe less?

Looking back at the Vid part-You certainly can save with an All In Wonder, which usually includes remote. Between the Vid-TV,and staying with the Silentium, savings should cover upgrading to the Scythe NCU 2005 passive, plus getting a decent soundcard-Chaintech,the one with the Via Envy 24 bit chip. At just $30 US it has the chip used in many studio cards.

shanizar: sorry I missed that you already decided. I looked around but the only Swedish place i found that sold SEASONIC S12-XXX was http://kylning.com but they didn't have S12-330. :( Sorry I could'nt help you. Your rig is going to be very nice in the end me thinks.

ronrem: Thanks for your tip! I've thought about gluing some hard panel on the inside of the case, only the removable panel. But first I aim to reduce as much vibrations as possible. Still waiting for the rubber fan mounts. To be truthfull the computer isn't defening as it is now. :) But there is a slight annoying buzz that is ever present. I think it's also because of air turbulence and that noise is enhanced by the case. So some type of dampening maybe. BTW the temp controlled fan undervolts just fine ronrem. The psu is on 7V all the time, no temperature control on them. The top ones still have the termistor and they seem to be working fine also. Full load (SuperPI and Prime95) gives me 42*C cpu, 37*C NB and 34*C SB temp on a non oc'ed AMD64 3000+.

[EDIT: found another place]
Check out http://overclockers.se/Search?searchValue=seasonic maybe SS-300FT is adequit for you? (450.00 SEK Bra pris :))

thanx for the links to sweedish sites that have the PSU. the last link seems promising... We'll see what I end up with. There's no rush in getting the computer finished and I got news that a norwegian shop is going to start selling some seasonics so I just hope it's the cheap ones.

(actually, doing the math. The german page I found the PSU in sells it so cheap that it is the same price as the swedish site even with 30 euro shipment :) )

@ronrem: I'll take a look at the ati all-in-wonder, but I suspect it hasn't got two tuners, something that's pretty important...
