Hi all,
First off - sorry for posting this in this section, it's just that to me the subject seems to cross two different topic areas so I thought this seemed to be the most "General" sub-forum.
I am planning on updating an old system of mine. I am not sure of a few things concerning Motherboard/CPU compatibility and CPU Cooler/Case fitting.
The components in question:
2.8GHz Celeron D
Zotac FG9300 Mini-ITX Motherboard
Silverstone NT01 V2 Cooler
Silverstone SG05 Case
Q1) I may not get a new CPU just yet. Does anyone know if my Celeron D will work in the Zotac board?
Q2) Some of you may know, the NT01 is multi-orientational for different Motherboard layouts. With the Case I have in mind, will the two be physically compatible? I am worried about the height of the cooler. However, with the shape of the cooler I was wondering if anyone knew if it fits?
If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it - and if you need any more info, let me know
Thanks,
D
