Thanks for the link, I just read through it. That makes sense, I appreciate you attaching that. I will use the fans supplied with the case in the default config, as well as the Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 CPU cooler fan. I'm guessing that will work just fine for me! I don't push my system to any limits, the most I would be doing is working with After Effects CS5.5 and running several clips with effects, and rendering clips. That and doing multiple tracks recording and playing back in Pro Tools. I'm definitely just going to overclock this to normal safe limits, or do something close to recommended. I hadn't planned on OC'ing at all but it seems to be a normal part of setting up a system nowadays, hardware and bios tweaking.
Will try to remember to update after I build the system, hoping it will be stable and quiet. I'm wondering if the GTX 570 might be the loudest thing in my system? I bought that primarily on the recommendation of several video editing DIY sites, to help with 3D rendering and other effects I plan on using in After Effects and other graphic software. Do people here sometimes modify GPU fans? The 570 looks like this, can't tell if that's even possible. http://www.productwiki.com/upload/image ... tx_570.jpg
I'm not planning on doing any modifications, just curious if anyone knows if the card is noisy or not.
