Boot From USB?

Post by jimdoe » Sat Apr 21, 2012 4:04 pm

I have a Biostar TZ68K+ (1155).

How can I boot from a USB?

In my Boot priorities, I have 3 options.

Built-in EFI Shell
DVD
SSD

No option for USB.

I'm trying to install windows via USB....

I don't have a Biostar but you certainly should be able to. There's often a separate option to enable USB boot.
You shouldn't need priorities. You should be able to select a boot menu when booting (watch the splash screen for the text which tells you which keys to press) and choose the device manually.
EFI can boot USB but I haven't actually used that beyond noticing it was automatically booting from my USB install media.
