Build n Scythe Grand Kama Cross Rev B fit in Asus Maximus V?

Hi.
I know. Too loud. My first post. My mom is so proud.
So, will a Scythe Grand Kama Cross (SGKC) Rev B CPU cooler fit in an Asus Maximus V Gene on an i5-3570K? It will fit height-wise in a NZXT H2, but I'm worried it might ram the RAM. Yeah, the Gene is mATX, but the width is the same as an ATX. Also, why does the SGKC RevB (blows down at the CPU not across it) get no lovin'? For all the resellers on the Scythe web site, I could only find it in stock at Platinum Micro in Cali. And it looks so fine. Like you parked a Harley in your box. Here's the rig I'm planning. Feel free to rip me a new one:

Grand Total: 1324 plus about 14 in tax = 1338
I'm not a hyperactive 16 year old playing FPS games 40 hours straight. Just want to do Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, maybe others. I could go down to EVGA GTX 550 Ti and save 64 bucks. Or go up to the new GTX 660 Ti and blow another 110. I was planning to get a 256 GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD for 175, but I couldn't resist the 512 GB at 60 cents a GB.
Let me know if you see anything wrong. Or right. Thanks muchly.
