8800GTS & Windows xp 64 problems

Post by matthenewbie » Sat Sep 21, 2013 9:38 am

Hey guys.

Got the system up and running however nvidia drivers cant seem to detect my graphics card

Its defiantly plugged in correctly and turns on because the fan spins and its hot after i switch the pc off.

When ever i try to run Nvidia drivers. it just says '' Window verson not compatible \\ even though i am using the windows xp 64 bit driver. completly frazzled by it

using MSI 8800GTS 640mb // gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P & Windows xp 64bit professional

Any help would be great ! ( I have the graphics card blugged into the blue slot which i believe is the pci express slot)

Thanks

Matt.

Normally Window version not compatible would happen when using x86 drivers on x64 OS, are you sure you are using the x64 drivers ?
Maybe re download them to make sure.
