Hello,
I'm about to build a new pc that will be used for programming and music production.
I want it to be dead silent and lightning fast !

I won't do any gaming so I didn't include a graphic card.
Will the onboard graphics be enough ? I will be using 2 monitors.
I chose the lowest dBa fans I could find for the case and the cpu. (I plan on replacing all fractal design's fans with the 120mm noctuas, 2 intake/1 exhaust)
I know haswell gets pretty hot and my psu has no fan so I'm not sure if the fans will be enough.

I'd like some criticism before I order this.

When you say "music production", do you mean live mic or running VST's or both? If the latter, do you plan to do orchestral levels of VSTs or a handful? If you don't run orchestral numbers of virtual instruments then you won't need a quad core with hyperthreading. Don't know what your programming entails to comment.

Onboard gfx easily supports 2 monitors - just need to make sure your mobo has the correct outputs for your specific monitors.

Your stressed system power will be under 130W...and most likely under 90W for your apps. So, not a ton of heat produced inside your case.

Fractal R4 is a popular case and can be very quiet. Another option is the Antec Solo II.

Case fans: Really, the existing fans might work great for you. Run them down to 5V with the included controller and see before you spend $'s on replacements. You'll only need 1 slow rpm input and 1 exhaust.

CPU Cooler: Step up to a 120mm like the Noctua NH-U12S.

RAM: I'm guessing either you run a lot of VSTs or your programming requires 16GB? Make sure your RAM height doesn't conflict with your final cooler choice.

Mobo: Get the -Pro if you need mobo wifi/BT. I can't imagine you'd use the mobo codec for your music production, but that's the other upgrade on the PRO. If you don't need those features, you can drop down to the - Plus.

Haswell: In general, you might want to wait until ~September for your Haswell build. The currently released chipset has a bug in the USB3 controller, where devices sometimes aren't recognized when the PC returns from Sleep. The user fix is to dismount/remount the device for it to be recognized. Intel released the fixed chipset to mobo mfgrs in end July...so it might be September when the new versions are available/old inventory is flushed. If, that "feature" doesn't bother you, then no worries.
