I can't find it anywhere. All I can find is the 'usb drive' version.
Two things with that:
1) CD's will be readable forever. Don't thumb drives go bad?
2) You can tell your PC to boot from the optical drive in BIOS. Can motherboards now be told to boot from a thumb drive?
Windows 10 Retail doesn't come on cd anymore?

Both can and will. I've had unreadable Window install disks and I've had thumb drives go bad.SGCSG1 wrote:1) CD's will be readable forever. Don't thumb drives go bad?
Depends on the age of the motherboard/chipset.SGCSG1 wrote:2) You can tell your PC to boot from the optical drive in BIOS. Can motherboards now be told to boot from a thumb drive?

Windows 10 is available on USB drives and as a download, which you can burn to a disc.
As a technician who installs Windows on a daily basis, prefer the USB drives because they're faster and silent!

Using tools like YUMI – Multiboot USB Creator it's also possible to put a lot of stuff on a single USB stick. Very practical.
