Hi everyone, i am new here :)
Hey guyz I've msi gtx 750 ti twin frozr 2gb, i used to play gta v and some other high end graphics games with good performance, i didn't know that these gtx cards need good power supply too for the good performance and the power it needs. I fried my mobo with a normal frontech power supply, now i am using my pc without my gtx 750 ti, i just wanted help about it's pcie 6pin, there's no 6pin slot to plug and also I've normal power supply 500w and can i make myself a power connector for 6pin pcie with this normal power supply for gtx 750 ti and also there's a small button right next to 6pin on gtx 750 ti what does it do?
12v rail has 15A and i was talking about soldering a 6pin plug to gpu ? Can i do myself?

Power supply is OK as far as capacity is concerned. Best thing to do for the 6pin pcie is to buy an adapter such as this one from Amazon.

This is a switch to change between 2 different BIOS settings. Position 1 is a Legacy BIOS, position 2 is a UEFI/Hybrid BIOS. Unless you plan on accessing the BIOS on the card leaving/putting the switch into position 1 should be OK. Position 1 is nearest the end where the graphics card cable fits.

If your 500W power supply doesn't have a PCIe plug it's not "normal" by today's standards, and imply that it's a fairly old design.
How much current can your power supply deliver on the 12V rail? Does it have one or two 12V rails?
(Make and model?)

180W on the 12V line might be a bit tough.
I'd rather suggest you buy a new PSU. Good ones in the 400-500W range can be had at <$50.
