They've done it for quite a while now. I got the all plastic HSF clips with my Pentium E6300 which I bought back when it was first released back in Q2'09. Alas, that means no more fan mods...

Oh, that. :P Already read that during the weekend. As far as I'm aware, they've already replaced the fake Core i7's and found the culprit.
