Linksys has great customer support

Have never needed them before, but was trying to troubleshoot problems with a friend's earthlink DSL network. Earthlink support was useless, blamed the router, and wouldn't give any help for customers using a router unless my friend subscribed to a $7 per month earthlink networking support plan! Absolute B.S.

Called Linksys. No need for serial numbers or customer ID, didn't care if it was in or out of warranty, just pure, smart help with both the router and even the stupid earthlink modem. (Of course, the router was fine. Problem was the modem... which linksys resolved.)
