This is one horrifically noisy laptop, but it's got everything else I need to serve as the core component of my home recording studio. The fan (I guess) seems to run continuously and can literally be heard in the next room. And still this is a hot box.
Has anyone tamed this beast into relative quiet? I can tolerate some noise level but nothing like what it gives off now.
is there hope for a noisy Sony VAIO PCG-GRT170 laptop?
