Hello anybody home?

More popular than ever, but some are still very noisy.

Hello anybody home?

Post by NoiseFreeGuy » Wed May 02, 2012 5:29 pm

This board doesn't seem too active anymore.
Am I just looking at the wrong sections?

I wonder where tablet PC's fit into the picture here?
Are they under Notebook systems?

For the most part, would people here consider tablets to be silent?

Does anyone know what the lowest powered tablets are that run Windows?
Any specs? Name of companies? Name of models etc.?

I'm in the market for a Windows-based tablet PC that is as low-powered as possible.
Speed isn't the issue.

TIA

If you want a Windows based tablet, you may want to wait until later this year when Win 8 is available. Try google for an advance peek.

Thanks!
I did see a few Win 8 models yesterday online being reviewed.
They didn't mention the nitty gritty specs however.

I just got back from an extended trip and took my Asus EeePC (4G) with me.
The 7 inch screen is getting to be really tiresome now. It also isn't as light as it used to be. :)
