Macbook vs Macbook Pro noise

I'm about to bite the bullet. Which is noisier, Macbook or Macbook Pro? I'm wondering mostly about fan behavior and default fan operation because I might swap out the HDD for SDD anyway.

As I own a macbook I can say that the fan is pretty quiet most of the time.
From time to time it ramps up for ~2minutes.
Could be annoying if it's super quiet but I use mine most of the time at the university so i don't notice it that often.

If you want to swap out the hdd for a ssd remember that you'll lose warranty for the mbp but you are allowed to swap the macbook's hdd.

I went with the Macbook. I'll report back when I get it. I have access to 15" and 17" Macbook Pros and I'll be able to make a good comparison.

I'm planning to swap the drive for a 320 gb WD Scorpion.
