I just got a brand new laptop battery and cannot get it to calibrate correctly to the charge gauge.

It shows fully charged then at about 95% drops to 5% and shortly there after the alarms sounds and the laptop goes to sleep. This is all in less than 10 minutes.

If I turn off all the alarms it runs for about 2 hours before it quits.

The battery health monitor says it's fully charged and in good shape but I can't make the gauge/alert/sleep functions behave.

Any ideas/suggestions?
