Need new laptop for MIDI controller

I'll be running Finale 2008, Ableton Live, Kontakt2, Ivory Italian Grand, B4 and Garritan Personal Symphony.
I don't care about onboard audio or video much, but I do need a decent-sized HDD, 3 Gb of RAM and (of course) quiet.
Long battery life is a plus.
Budget <=$750

You can buy a lot of laptop for $700 these days.
