Anyone with a laptop riser stand?

More popular than ever, but some are still very noisy.

Anyone with a laptop riser stand?

Post by Jordan » Thu Feb 19, 2009 7:17 pm

I'm thinking about getting a laptop with a riser stand but space is at a premium as I need to have a very shallow desk. It will also be up against the wall so I need to get a ballpark figure of how much space I'll have for a keyboard in front of it.

I am interested to know the depth of the whole unit and laptop combo from front to back when you have it at a comfortable height and obviously the model you have.

Thinking of getting a Dell Studio 15 and another worry is I'm not too sure if the hinges open up a full 180 degrees or even approaching that.
