I recently got a very nice deal on a 5930k and Asus X99-A motherboard. I ordered the cheapest 32GB pack of DDR4 RAM that I could find, which happened to be a pair of G-Skill 16GB sticks. However, I was just looking at the manual for the motherboard and it claims that it only supports sticks up to 8GB. I am willing to bet that it actually supports 16GB sticks, and that they weren't available/common when that manual was written. I have found people saying elsewhere that X99 supports 16GB sticks, but nothing about this board specifically.
Basically, do I need to order more RAM?
EDIT: I just found the compatibility list for the RAM, which includes the X99-A. So never mind then, don't mind me, nothing to see here.
Do all X99 boards support 16GB RAM sticks?
