I am considering this board for a friend's new rig but when Gigabyte describes hardware monitoring on the web site temperature monitoring is not mentioned. If anyone has experience with this board, please let me know whether it has temperature sensors. Thanks.

Yes, it has temp monitoring. The CPU and case temps, at least -- I used SATA drives, so I cannot vouch for the HD temps. SpeedFan reported the temps (but I was not able to slow the fans with it), and the BIOS has the temps, too.
