power consumption of nforce3/4?

Does anybody the power consumption of the nforce3 and 4 for amd?
I saw that it was about half the one of the nforce intel edition which was 29, so it would make about 15.
Can anyone confirm that? It seems low.

And where does the chipset draw its power from, the 3V, 5v or 12v?

try sending an email to gigabyte, msi, aopen, asus, abit, or (insert company that builds NF4 boards here).

No idea where the chipset gets it current from, but I've read the nForce 4 chipset pulls upwards of 30W, which explains whay ALL the nF4 boards have a fan on the NB HS. A reviewer I met at Computex also mentioned measuring over 30W...

That means it is on par with an Athlon64 3000+ Winchester/Venice, which is just nuts. Hopefully the next generation of chipsets will be less power hungry.

i wonder what Intel chipsets consume. As it may be that a pentium M (dothan) desktop would seem the best currently, even more so than it already is after knowing the motherboard chipset's power consumption :?

Please view that 30W figure cautiously; it is from 3rd party sources and I have no way to verify it at this time.

This power supply calculator automatically gives AMD motherboards 45W.
