Does MSI KT4V undervolt ?

Post by jjr » Wed Dec 14, 2005 3:26 pm

In the list of undervoltable mobos, the MSI KT4 Ultra is listed (which seems to be very similar) but no word of the KT4V ....
Could anyone confirm whether the MSI KT4V can (or cannot) undervolt and to which extend ?

Thanks in advance

I have a KT4 VL (6712)
The options you have are:

1.575
1.6
1.625

That's all. ;)

Shit ...

However, I've had a detailed look at the manual and it does mention a Fuzzy Logic application that is part of the software suite that ships together with the board.

Did you make any try at it to see what it allows in terms fo undervolting ?

The KT4 Ultra (same chipset) as no precise mention of undervolting capabilities yet it shows up in the list and boasts the same Fuzzy Logic support.

Fuzzy Logic never worked for me, it always locks my PC.

I already told you the options that you can choose at the bios.

I have a 1700+ Tbred that can run stock (133 x 11) and undervolted it to 1.575 without any problems.
